At Pacific Cycles, it is our mission to create exciting products to meet the needs and expectations of cycling enthusiasts worldwide. Everything about our company is, and always has been, based on this single-minded focus.
A really nice side-effect of being involved with the development of bicycles is that we are able to make a positive contribution to improving the global environment by providing an alternative, more healthy and efficient means of transport.
We sincerely believe that one of the most effective solutions to today’s increasingly serious global problems — oil shortages, rising oil prices, economic depression and failing health levels, to name just a few — is simply to ride a bike whenever you can. Multi-mode transportation is one realistic step we can take to ensure a better future for our planet.

Riding a bicycle really is the ultimate way to get around. The bicycle does not use non-renewable resources or cause air or noise pollution. It is inexpensive both to buy and support, takes up little space, can be parked anywhere and, of course, it’s a healthy activity.
Not to mention fun!
 The Green Triangle
In his groundbreaking book, Ecotopia, Ernest Callenbach proposed the idea of a “Green Triangle”, as a means of generating ideas for personal, community and national change. The principal that relates to these three points is that any time you do something beneficial for one of them, you will almost inevitably also do something beneficial for the other two — whether you are planning to or not. For example, let’s say you decide to ride a bike to work to improve your health. You will also end up saving some money on gas and be helping the environment by causing less pollution.
