Eurobike 2008:  The new Pacific Mode bicycle featuring the patented IF(Integrated Folding) technology was chosen for a Eurobike Award 2008 presented by the International Forum Design Gmbh, Hannover.  This year’s competition attracted a record 361 entries from 27countires.  A jury of experts then chose 65 products as recipients of the Eurobike Award 2008. 

Pacific’s designers: Michael Lin, Mark Sanders and Ryan Carroll, where on hand at the Fashion Show stage at Eurobike to receive the award.  The Pacific Mode was on display during the four day show in a special Eurobike Award area in the messe foyer.

The clean and striking IF Mode is aimed at commuters that may have not considered cycling or folding bikes to be an option. IF Mode avoids oily chains, complex tubes with hidden dirt traps and the clutter of traditional bicycle features.  It can be used by commuters who do not want to change their appearance into 'bicycle warriors'.  IF Mode offers a single-action, automatic 5-second fold. No tools are needed and no parts need to be removed. IF technology is based on a patented 3-dimensional 4-Bar link that automatically guides the wheels to come together when folding.  IF Mode can be rolled along in a convenient wheelable package.
