 Taipei, Taiwan 8 Mar 2010 – The Taiwan External Trade Development council (TAITRA) presented the 18th annual Taiwan Excellence Awards in a gala ceremony in Taipei, hosted by The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan and attended by industry leaders. Representing Pacific Cycles at the ceremony and accepting the National Award of Excellence for their Carryme was George Lin(left), founder and designer at Pacific Cycles.
The annual award is decided by a panel of international judges to honor Taiwan’s most innovative products with international recognition. The judging criteria; including R&D, Design, Quality and Market and Brand Awareness. This year, 717 Taiwan products competed for recognition as Taiwan Excellence. In total, 368 products from 136 companies were entitled as "Taiwan Excellent Products". Several world class expert judges then nominated 30 products as finalists to compete for Gold and Silver honors.
Pacific's IF Mode also won the the 17th Taiwan Excellence Silver Award in 2009.
