Pacific Cycles Upholds Its Longstanding Commitment to Charity — “Ride a Kilometer, We Donate NT$10”
Continuing its long tradition of giving back, Pacific Cycles once again carried out its signature charitable initiative under the theme ]
“Ride a Kilometer, Pacific Donates NT$10.”
By combining the mileage from both the main event and cycling teams around Taiwan, a total of NT$491,920 was raised.
The funds will be used to purchase specially adapted bicycles for riders with unique needs.
Reflecting Pacific Cycles' dedication to corporate social responsibility and the promotion of inclusive cycling.
Founder George Lin expressed that this year marks the 16th edition of the charity ride.
He was delighted to see more and more cyclists and families joining this movement that transforms the joy of cycling into a meaningful act of kindness.
“From every kilometer and every drop of sweat, we turn the happiness of riding into warmth for society,” Lin said. “Through this event, we hope people will see cycling not only as a sport, but also as a way to give back to the community.”
This year's event also saw enthusiastic participation from organizations such as National Taipei University of Technology EMBA Alumni Association, METAL Industries, and KPMG, further amplifying the reach and impact of the charitable effort.

This year's charity route took riders along Taoyuan's beautiful coastal “Pearl Route,” connecting Zhuwei Fishing Harbor, Yong'an Fishing Harbor, and the Xinwu Green Tunnel. Participants experienced the region’s seaside breeze, ocean waves, and vibrant coastal ecology throughout the journey.
The opening ceremony was led by Pacific Cycles Founder George Lin, Chairperson Eva Lin, Taoyuan City Department of Economic Development Director Cheng Chang, and Taoyuan City Tourism Bureau Director Ching-Fang Chen, who jointly sounded the starting horn and led the riders on their way — setting off a day filled with energy and excitement.
This year's total charity mileage will benefit the Pingtung Ren-Ai Institute, Chiayi Sacred Heart Home, and five individual student recipients with disabilities. Among them are several young athletes participating in Frame Running — a sport designed for people with cerebral palsy, where determination and perseverance redefine the spirit of movement.

Through this initiative, Pacific Cycles hopes to extend the freedom and joy of riding to more individuals, turning every pedal stroke into a spark of empowerment and light.
In addition to the charity ride, the event also featured the beloved “Ride & Fun Market,” a family-friendly fair that brought together Taoyuan's local tourism factories, sports brands, and community innovation teams.
In partnership with the Agriculture and Food Agency's Eastern Regional Branch, the market also promoted agricultural products from eastern Taiwan.
Visitors enjoyed hands-on DIY workshops, fun games, and cycling experiences, filling the venue with laughter, excitement, and heartfelt moments — the perfect closing to a day of riding for a good cause.
