Day 1 | Ride Into the Hidden Wonders: Yuweng Island & North Coast of Magong

On the first day, the journey begins from Magong City. Riders set out to explore, starting with a climb to the Yuweng Island Lighthouse for a panoramic view of the sea and horizon. From there, the route leads to the hidden wonder of Daguoye’s basalt columns — a natural stone sculpture that takes your breath away.

Next, we step back in time at the historic Erkan Village, where winding alleyways and traditional homes capture the charm of old Penghu. The ride then crosses the iconic Penghu Great Bridge, arriving at the ancient Tongliang Banyan Tree, a sacred site with deep roots and rich heritage.

In the afternoon, cyclists glide along the Peng-8 bike path, passing the serene coastline of Xujia Village, before reaching the Anzai Seaside Trail and Dongwei Grandmother’s Stone Sculpture Park. As the sun sets, the route leads back to the Yentai Hotel in Magong — a perfect end to a day that blends wind, sea, and heritage, capturing the pure beauty of Penghu.

Day 3 | Magong Cultural Tour: A Journey Through Faith and History

On Day 3, the theme is “Mazu Tourism Park & Magong City Heritage Tour” — a 15km cultural cycling route that delves into the heart of Penghu’s heritage. The journey begins at the Mazu Tourism Park, where the world’s tallest statue of the sea goddess, standing at an impressive 48 meters, offers a serene and reverent atmosphere that captures the deep spiritual essence of the islands.

From there, riders glide along the scenic Rainbow Bridge bike path at Guanyin Pavilion, making a nostalgic stop at Duxing 10 Village, where timeless melodies and old-world charm linger in the air.

The route continues to the historic Shun Cheng Gate and concludes at the Penghu Tianhou Temple — the oldest in Taiwan — a sacred site steeped in history and culture.

Throughout the day, riders trace Magong’s heritage by bike, creating their own story of Penghu, a journey where every pedal turn connects the threads of faith, culture, and belonging.
